Standard Dosing of Homeopathic Cell Salts
- Homeopathic Cell Salts hold a unique position in homeopathic medicine as being in between being a supplement (containing the material substance_ and being a homeopathic remedy (potentized).
- Cells Salts are made in an “X” potency. This potency means that there is a dilution of 1:10 and it has been done as many times as the number in front of the “X”. The potencies for cell salt are 3X, 6X, 12X and 24X potencies.
- Because cell salts are both a material substance and potentized, we want to mix both ways of delivery – dry and water.
Standard Dosing of Cell Salts
- The cell salt potency used is a 6X.
- Consult a Homeopath for the proper cell salt(s) for a chronic case for the correct potency and any variation from this general type of dosing.
- The standard dose amount is 3 to 5 tablets.
- 3 pills as a dose are usually for children.
- 5 pills as a dose are usually given for teens and adults.
Acute Dosing of Cell Salts
- In ACUTE situations you can do 5 pills dry every 1-2 hours and repeat as needed until the condition is handled.
Ongoing Dosing of Cell Salts
- For ONGOING situations dosing recommended is to take 3 – 5 pills DRY the first thing in the morning. You can take a sip of water after they dissolve if you wish.
- Take 3 – 5 pills DRY the last intake in the evening. You can take a sip of water after they dissolve if you wish.
- Take 3 – 5 pills dissolved in water throughout the day.
- Use a 8 oz – 16 oz. water bottle with the cell salts dissolved in it. Sip from this bottle throughout the day. This whole volume of water with cell salts added should be consumed during the day.
- Be sure to dose in a clean mouth. Avoid having any food or drink at least 15 minutes before or after the cell salts are dosed, with the exception of the water after the dry tablets are dosed.
This is a combination of all the cell salts listed below, together in one tablet.
- For athletes, I recommend 5 pills per quart of water during heavy work outs to replenish lost minerals through heavy perspiration and sports activity.
